HGV tracking built for compliance and control

Live tracking, cameras and driver safety tools for trucks and lorries, including TfL Direct Vision Standard compliance for operators running into London.

HGV fleet tracking

Tracking that goes beyond dots on a map

Running trucks is not like running vans. Vehicles are worth more, loads are worth more, and the rules you operate under are stricter. Our HGV tracking gives you live locations, full journey history and geofence alerts across tractor units, rigids and trailers, so the office always knows where every vehicle is and where it has been. Corridor and motorway running is easy to review, with detailed replays for any stretch of route.

What most tracking suppliers leave out is compliance. If your vehicles enter London, the Direct Vision Standard requires a permit, and vehicles rated two stars or below must have the Progressive Safe System fitted. We supply and install complete DVS packages alongside tracking, so one supplier handles your cameras, sensors, side detection and the telematics that ties it together, fitted by engineers who do this every week.

Everything an HGV fleet needs

From live tracking to camera systems and London compliance, we supply and install the full setup with one point of contact.

Live HGV tracking

Real time positions for tractor units, rigids and trailers, with journey history, geofences and alerts your transport office will actually use.

Multi camera systems

Side, rear and front cameras with in cab monitors give drivers the visibility they need and give you recorded evidence when it matters.

DVS compliance packages

Complete Progressive Safe System kits for London work, supplied, installed and maintained by our own engineers across the UK.

Blind spot detection

Sensors and side detection warn drivers about cyclists and pedestrians, protecting vulnerable road users and supporting your DVS permit.

Trailer and load alerts

Geofences, door sensors and movement alerts help protect high value loads, with notifications the moment something moves that should not.

Driver safety scoring

Harsh braking, acceleration and speeding events feed into driver scores, so coaching conversations are based on evidence rather than anecdotes.

Compliance first

London ready with the Progressive Safe System

The Direct Vision Standard measures how much a driver can see directly from the cab, and every HGV over twelve tonnes needs a permit to operate in London. Vehicles rated below three stars must now have the Progressive Safe System fitted: cameras covering the nearside, sensors that detect vulnerable road users, audible warnings and clear signage. Our DVS packages bring all of this together, installed neatly and calibrated correctly the first time.

Compliance is not a one off job. Permits need the equipment to stay working, cameras get knocked, sensors need checking, and new vehicles join the fleet. Because we installed the kit, we can service it too, and because the tracking runs on the same account you keep one supplier, one support line and one invoice. That matters when an audit lands or a vehicle is stopped at the roadside.

  • Permit compliant camera and sensor kits for London operation
  • Audible turn warnings and signage included in every package
  • Ongoing maintenance from the engineers who fitted it
  • One supplier for tracking, cameras and compliance

Common questions

Your questions, answered

The Progressive Safe System is the equipment package TfL requires on HGVs rated below three stars under the Direct Vision Standard. It covers the driver's indirect vision: a camera monitoring system for the nearside, sensors that detect cyclists and pedestrians, an audible warning when the vehicle turns left, and warning signage on the vehicle. The equipment must be fitted and working for the permit to remain valid. We supply and install complete packages and can assess your fleet's star ratings before you buy anything.

Yes. Trailers can be fitted with their own tracking units so you see them even when they are unhitched, which matters when trailers sit at customer sites or in shared yards. Combined with door sensors and geofences, trailer tracking also helps with load security, alerting you if a trailer moves unexpectedly or a door opens outside a delivery point. Tractor units and trailers appear together on the same map, so the transport office gets one view of the whole operation.

Yes, and for HGV fleets it usually makes sense to combine them. Live video from connected cameras sits alongside tracking data in the same platform, so when a harsh braking event or a collision alert comes in you can review the footage immediately rather than ringing the driver. That joined up view saves time in the transport office and makes investigations faster. We supply connected AI dash cams and multi camera systems that work with the tracking platform from day one.

You apply to TfL online for each vehicle, and the permit itself is free. The work is in meeting the standard: vehicles rated below three stars need the Progressive Safe System fitted before the permit is granted, and you may need to provide evidence of the equipment. Our team can check your vehicles' star ratings, recommend the right package and install it, so your application goes through without the back and forth. Installation slots fill quickly, so it pays to plan ahead.

Yes. Accreditation schemes and customer audits commonly ask for evidence of camera coverage, driver monitoring and vehicle safety systems, and a tracked fleet with cameras gives you exactly that. Journey history, driver scores and recorded footage demonstrate that safety policies are lived rather than just written down. We regularly fit equipment for operators working toward such requirements, and because everything is installed by our own engineers, the paperwork and the hardware match up when an assessor visits.
